About this scheme

Our Digital Applications Apprenticeship is your opportunity to gain the confidence and experience you need to get a real head start in the digital workplace. This 12 – 18 month programme will develop you into a capable team member, fully prepared for a business career working with digital applications.

Throughout the course you’ll learn and use digital skills that will support you in a wide range of business activities. As you progress you’ll take on more responsibility, and by the time you’ve completed your apprenticeship you’ll be a trusted professional, ready to contribute to live projects and progress your career. If you like being well organised, analysing information and you have great communications skills, this programme is for you.

What you’ll cover

Through a combination of face to face training and workplace assignments, you’ll develop some of the most essential business skills around. From a technical perspective, you’ll gain your PC passport, ensuring you are confident to use a range of systems and software packages, essential for the workplace. Just as importantly though, you’ll receive plenty of support in improving your soft skills, covering a range of personal and professional skills to ensure you succeed.

Qualifications you will achieve as part of your Digital Applications Apprenticeship

  • SQA SCQF6 Diploma in Digital Applications Support
  • SQA SCQF6 PC Passport

Entry requirements

Our standard entry requirements apply: five GCSEs / Scottish National 5’s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including Maths and English).

Client Security Apprentice

As an apprentice within our Security, Risk and Compliance team you’ll support a broad range of security and governance related controls for our customers, constantly maintaining a secure and audit-ready environment. To make that happen, you’ll work alongside our Client Security Managers, contributing to and gaining experience in a range of information security, governance, risk and compliance activities. You’ll learn to build relationships with key stakeholders, making this an ideal environment to learn both technical and communication skills.
