Atos supports STEM Influencers at Sandhurst with skills gap dilemma
Recently, Nikki Kelly, Senior Vice President Public Sector & Health attended the annual Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) Influencer’s held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) representing Atos’s Armed Forces Network alongside 2,000 young people and 50 industry partners.
The future of the British Industry, our technological reputation and economy relies upon attracting and retaining young, talented individuals from a range of STEM subjects. The lunch provided an occasion for those representatives of different industries to collaborate and work together to tackle the skills gap dilemma.
Nikki Kelly, SVP Public Sector & Health, said: “It was great to see so many school pupils especially girls, attending this event focussed on STEM careers. The companies and military exhibiting did a great job of showcasing the variety of jobs that were on offer and all in such a fantastic setting.”
