Atos team completes the Three Peaks Challenge 2019 in great spirit
On Saturday 28th September, at 5:30am, twenty Atos colleagues kicked off the Million Makers Three Peaks Challenge, attempting to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales.
The team endured a tough physical challenge, each walking for 37km and climbing 10,052ft. They braved fierce weather conditions, climbed a wet Scafell Pike in complete darkness and Snowdon in lashing rain and very strong winds, to raise money for the Prince’s Trust.
The team worked closely through challenges, aiding struggling participants by accompanying them up the mountains and motivating them to complete the challenge. They demonstrated a great team attitude, determination and a true Atos spirit.
Following the event, James Easter, Big Data Cyber Security, said: “I learnt a huge amount about myself by doing this and I really want to thank everyone for supporting me.”
