The Prince’s Trust and Atos
At Atos, we are proud to support The Prince’s Trust ensuring they can continue to inspire these young people, as everyone deserves a chance.
‘ The Prince’s Trust gives young people the chance to get into education, training or open their eyes to the world of work, from work experience through to securing a job or setting up their own business. Atos supports the Million Makers competition through which we have raised over £750, 000 since 2012. The competition gives seed money which a team then has to invest in money raising-events to make a profit. Not only is a fantastic way to raise money, it also helps to develop our people and is a focal point to bring the whole organisation together. It has inspired us to do more, taking part in further events and enabling us to employ some young people introduced to us through The Prince’s Trust. Fantastic!’

The Prince’s Trust believe that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities. So, they help 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives. Their free programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. To help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation so they can continue to dream big. Last year they empowered over 58,000 young people to turn their lives around.
At Atos we are proud to support The Prince’s Trust and we participate in four key Prince’s Trust initiatives: The annual Million Makers competition, the Palace to Palace cycle ride, World of Work career days, and Get Into…. a training and recruitment programme. We have been supporting the Trust since 2011 and last year we raised a staggering £270,000 from Team Origin, Million Makers team.

What I do for The Prince’s Trust
“My role as Operations Manager means getting involved in the planning for each event, ensuring tasks are completed and helping the team stay on track to hit deadlines. I also assist with the internal communications and smaller events in our Central London headquarters, to ensure everyone is well informed of our events. I wanted to get involved with The Prince’s Trust because it’s a fantastic initiative and I’m passionate about helping other people reach their potential.”

What I do for the Prince’s Trust
“As treasurer for the Million Makers team, I’m responsible for managing our finances, including making sure payments are made on time, allowing our fantastic events to go ahead and raise as much money as possible. I wanted to get involved with The Prince’s Trust because of the fantastic work they do up and down the country, inspiring and enabling young adults to grow and reach their maximum potential.”

What I do for The Prince’s Trust
“In this year’s Million Makers team, I’m the Events Lead for our biggest fundraiser: the gala! Organising this event has given me an opportunity to refine my negotiation skills, in order to secure a fantastic venue and prizes to hopefully surpass the £160,000 raised last year. I’m inspired by the work done by The Prince’s Trust in supporting young people build a good foundation for the rest of their lives, such as the confidence to pursue their own business or help return to employment.”
