The Together Network and the Keframa School Build in Partnership – Charity Quiz
On Thursday 14th June, the Together Network, which celebrates culture and diversity within Atos, hosted a charity quiz in the Business Technology Innovation Centre at Atos headquarters in central London, to raise funds for the Keframa School Build in Northern Uganda. The evening was a resounding success, with around 40 Atos employees attending.
The Together Network has chosen to partner with the Keframa School Build after being inspired by the commitment shown by Tom Hall (Client Executive – Defence), one of the co-founders of the charity. The Keframa School Build charity is to build a secondary school for 500 young people in Northern Uganda and whilst primary education is relatively accessible in the country, secondary schooling is less so. The target was to raise the necessary funds to cover the cost of new beds and mattresses for the dormitories at the new school.
Yan Kasianczuk, Graduate Business Operations Manager, said: “The quiz was a fantastic success and both myself and Pammy Gill (co-charity committee lead) are so grateful to everyone for their help, support and generosity. The funds raised will make a real difference to the school build and we hope to have inspired people to support us on our journey for this amazing cause.”
