Varun Aggarwal has been Senior Associate Editor at The Economic Times (ETCIO) since February 2020, in this role he covers the latest business developments across India and the world. Prior to taking up his current role at The Economic Times, Varun worked as a Special Correspondent and then Senior Assistant Editor at Business Line, he also previously worked as a Correspondent for Reuters, CSO Forum, United Business Media and Information Week. In a career now spanning nearly twenty years, Varun has covered a range of issues impacting businesses in India and has written extensively on cyber security, with a focus on both national security, as well as enterprise security.
As part of this podcast, Kulveer and Varun reflect on the way in which India is establishing itself as a major presence in the digital economy. They also survey the impact of the rapid spread of high-speed connectivity across India, as well as examining how India is approaching some of the challenges to building on the rapid digitization witnessed in recent years.
