Visit Your Old School Campaign

Visit Your Old School Campaign

Our apprentices help to inspire the next generation of apprentices through our Visit Your Old School Campaign. Using their own initiative and personal contacts apprentices are encouraged to visit their old school to tell students about apprenticeships, through their personal experience with Atos. Each apprentice takes full responsibility for their events, so it’s a great way to develop new skills, revisit their old school and tell students what great opportunities an apprenticeship can offer. Apprentices also join our managers at larger careers events, to share their experience and inspire other young people.

Alex, Software Development Apprentice

‘I have been lucky enough to represent our company to the next generation of students in my local area, including my old secondary school and college, which was a nostalgic experience. I remember being a student myself, sat listening to careers people and now there I am doing the same thing for others – it’s a strange yet proud feeling. I feel visits like this are highly important to us as a company to show students what opportunities are out there. Being able to share my own experience as an apprentice is a great way to help students decide which path they wish to take in their careers and an opportunity I’ve really enjoyed.’
