Atos attends Bright Network ‘Women in Technology, Engineering & Consulting’

As part of the drive to ensure a diverse workforce, increase the pool of talent available to Atos and encourage women to consider a Graduate career with us, earlier this month Atos representatives attended the Bright Network careers event in London. The event saw 200 female university students from across the UK meet with Atos and other employers to find out more about the range of career opportunities open to them.

In addition to networking with Atos graduates and managers on the careers stand, attendees were able to hear from SVP Public Sector & Health, Nikki Kelly, on a panel session where successful female leaders shared top careers tips with students.

Following a programme of gender-focussed activities, Atos UK&I has achieved an increase in the number of female hires across the Graduate & Intern intake this year, with 50% of those female hires via Bright Network.

Nikki Kelly, SVP Public Sector & Health said: “It was a hugely inspirational day, to meet such talented female students and encourage them to consider a career in our industry, where women continue to be under-represented. We’ve made great progress this year, and initiatives like this event are helping to move us further towards our ambition of 50% female hiring.”
