A successful first Atos Digital Experience Evening
On Wednesday 17 July, Atos UK&I hosted its first Digital Experience Evening, bringing
together employees and technology experts to showcase a wide range of
cross-divisional digital technologies.
As the first event of this type, the evening saw over 100 Atos employees attend and delve into the digital capabilities on show and network with our experts. The evening was a great testament to the drive and enthusiasm of all Atos employees to learn fast and develop their own knowledge in order to better support our clients.
The evening designed as an internal tech fair-style event showcased cutting-edge technologies and hands-on demos such as Syntbots, VR, AI, MindSphere as well as interactive talks from technology experts.
Holborn-based charity Lifelites, a charity that helps donate specialist assistive technology packages for life-limited and disabled children in hospices, also attended the event. They brought with them an array of technology used to support children’s hospices throughout the UK and Ireland. This tech, including virtual reality, magic carpets and eye-gaze capabilities, enables children with life-limiting conditions to enjoy experiences that would otherwise be inaccessible.
Attendees at the event experienced first-hand the huge impact digital technologies can have on the world around us, whether at a life-changing individual level, or on an industry disruptive scale. With change being the new normal, the Digital Experience Team is keen to replicate events like this, bringing Atos employees closer to the technologies we work with, that are driving significant change within our client’s businesses.
Daniele Principato, Senior Vice President Business & Platform Solutions, UK & Ireland, and event sponsor, said: “Atos’ first Digital Experience Evening proved to be a fantastic event, with lots of interest and engagement from both attendees and the technology experts, showcasing the breadth and depth of our cross divisional digital capability.”
