Atos hosts Ministry of Justice Charity Quiz Night
On Wednesday 3 July, the Ministry of Justice account team held their annual Charity Quiz Night in MidCity Place. The event was a great opportunity to have some fun and raise money for the ANTZ mentorship programme.
ANTZ is a social enterprise, connecting businesses, charities and third-sector organisation to create a mentoring programme targeting disadvantaged people. Atos UK&I employees have helped to mentor and support participants to overcome challenges, grow professionally and create a positive impact for themselves and society.
The Quiz Night was expertly crafted by Dean Bayliss, Client Manager, which included rounds such as Blockbusters, celebrity face mash-up and the all-important sports round . The winning team – a combination of bright minds from the Atos and Ministry of Justice teams creatively named ‘No Idea’ – stole the show.
The game helped to raise money from attendees and Atos match funding, which will go to the ANTZ Mentorship Programme, providing opportunity for those ending prison sentences to reintegrate into society.
Joel Smith, Client Executive, Ministry of Justice, said: “The Ministry of Justice annual quiz was yet another success. We raised a considerable sum, 100% of which will go to the A Mentoring Scheme, supporting ex-offenders and the prison rehabilitation agenda; a truly great cause. Thank you to all those who attended and helped make it such a great night!”
