Atos duo recognised by British Interactive Media Association (BIMA)

London, 9 May 2019

Two Atos UK and Ireland employees have been included in the BIMA100 – an industry recognised power list that celebrates the leaders and innovators who are transforming the UK’s digital sector.

Jillian Moore, Head of Digital at Atos and Data Scientist Jared Thomas were both selected by a panel of industry experts to be recognised during the awards ceremony, which took place on 8 May at the OXO Tower, London.

Jillian Moore was recognised as part of the BIMA100 in the CEOs & Leaders category which celebrates people “whose outstanding leadership within an organisation has created an environment where their people are genuinely leading the charge in defining the future of our industry”.

Over the last 20 years Jillian has worked in Digital Transformation in Digital Agencies, Consultancies and SIs and has worked with many markets including CPG, Retail, Sport and Financial Services to bring together business transformation and new digital technologies to help clients do things differently.

Jared Thomas, Data Scientist for Atos UK and Ireland was chosen as part of the BIMA100 in the Tech Trailblazers category which celebrates “people who are using emerging technology to bring innovative ideas to life – to create digital and physical experiences in the real world; and/or people who are using data in ground-breaking ways to enable new services”.

Jared joined the Atos graduate scheme in 2016 with a strong interest in data science and machine learning and later moved to a data science team delivering AI (artificial intelligence) solutions including recommendation engines, demand forecasting systems and an algorithm that predicted kidney transplant waiting times. Over the last year Jared has been working in the Atos Google AI lab with other AI enthusiasts to demonstrate the power of AI to Atos’ clients and how it can be applied within their organisations.
