Secretary of State for DCMS opens new London headquarters of Atos UK & I

Atos, a leader in digital transformation, today welcomed The Rt Hon Matthew Hancock, MP, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to formally open its new UK & Ireland head office in Holborn, central London.
It comes on the day Atos and Google Cloud announced a new global partnership with three new R&D centres and innovation labs to open, including one in the UK, to help customers solve business challenges and innovate.
The Minister said: “I warmly welcome the renewed commitment by Atos to London and the UK underlined by this impressive new office. I am delighted to hear about Atos’s new partnership with Google Cloud which will help to create and develop exciting new technologies here in the UK. This, alongside its pledge to continue developing digital skills for everyone shows Atos is dedicated to the future of this country.”
The Minister was escorted by Atos UK & Ireland CEO Adrian Gregory, on a tour of the new state-of-the-art facilities at MidCity Place, before meeting with Atos graduates, interns and apprentices and taking part in an engaging employee question and answer session.

Adrian Gregory also spoke of the essential requirement for developing a new generation of digitally skilled British workers in parallel with equipping today’s workforce with the capabilities to administer technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics process automation and data analytics as they become crucial to the growth plans of businesses everywhere.
Measuring 42,600 square feet, the new Atos office is home to an advanced Customer Experience* lab, a technology innovation centre, and extensive customer collaboration spaces. The considerable office foot print and digital infrastructure marks a milestone in the growth of Atos in the UK and Ireland with the new office geared to reflect the truly collaborative approach to deliver digital innovation for clients, partners and Atos colleagues.
