A great success at the RITA Awards due to a strong trusted partnership
The Real IT Awards (RITA) were held on Thursday 17 May 2018 in London, which are recognised for their independence and focus on celebrating team effort. They are specifically designed for large organisations from different industries and sectors with similar challenges within business technology.
As part of our involvement in the EWM Alliance framework for Anglian Water, Atos and alliance colleagues from Capgemini and Cognizant won Technology Product / Project Team of the Year for the Customer Online Journey – Digital Platform Project.
The project was built around collaborative work between the Anglian Water customer services business team and the EWM Alliance (Anglian Water IS, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini and Atos) working as one team. Each partner played key roles in design and delivery of a robust solution with a common objective of increasing customer satisfaction and bringing operational efficiency. This is the first programme in UK water utilities to use an alliance model with IS partners and an innovative commercial model.
The key objective of the Customer Online Journey was to offer a digital platform to domestic water customers, allowing them to manage their account efficiently from anywhere, anytime. The project was transformative for Anglian Water, as the first shift to a completely transactional digital platform that allows them to onboard their customer to a true self-service world while helping it reduce its in-house costs.
Toby Goldblatt, Senior Vice President of Business & Platform Solutions said: “It’s brilliant to see our customers achieve success and recognition in the market. Our team have played a key role, in collaboration with their partners, in making this happen. This is a great platform for future growth for all involved.”
