Atos renews commitment as Stonewall Global Diversity Champion

London, 10th July 2017

Atos, a leader in digital transformation, announced today that is has renewed its commitment as a Stonewall Diversity Champion for the second year.

The Diversity Champions Programme brings together top employers from across the UK to promote and support diversity in the workplace, helping businesses and public services to develop inclusive workplace cultures and ensuring staff can perform to their full potential.

Commenting on the continued partnership with Stonewall, AtosPride Executive sponsor and Senior Vice President Business Transformation Services (BTS) at Atos UK&I, David Haley said: “As a business we are fully committed to gender equality and identity, actively promoting the network to our people to get involved across the globe.

“We currently have over 550 members from 19 different countries and we welcome everyone regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

“We are proud that we celebrate diversity in our teams and, that we are a LGBT+ friendly organisation with firm plans to continue to raise awareness across our company.”

AtosPride was co-founded by Julia Atwater, Head of SDM Practice UK&I and Jude Satchell-Foley, Global Head of Operations for Application Hosting Services at Atos, who was recently nominated in the Reed Smith Top 10 LGBT+ Inspirational Leaders for her work to bring LGBT+ rights to the forefront of the organisation.

By continuing to be a Stonewall Diversity Champion, Atos is highlighting its commitment to making the working environment a place that LGBT+ employees can be themselves, driving performance, engagement as well as inclusion and diversity. The company will help LGBT+ employees across the whole of Atos find support and community within the organisation.
