Atos’ Windy Garrett shortlisted for Transformation Leader of the Year

September 17, 2019 – The Women in IT awards selects Windy Garrett, Atos’ Vice President, Cloud Partners, as a finalist for the 2019 Transformation Leader of the Year award, recognizing her work toward empowering the future of business through strategic partnerships and innovative IT solutions.

Organized by leading business technology publication Information Age, The Women in IT Awards Silicon Valley aims to showcase the achievements of women in the sector and identify new roles models. Offering a series of awards, ranging from CIO of the year through to Rising Star, the program provides a platform to identify females at all levels achieving great things in the technology industry.

Garrett serves as a key role in developing cloud business at Atos and helping enterprise clients map their cloud transformation journey to innovation and efficiencies. She coaches a strategic partner group focused on the dominate cloud companies with the top goal of helping Atos’ largest clients transform their legacy IT environments to hybrid and multi-cloud estates.

“My career is inspired by the notable moments and achievements of women in technology, and my hope is that this acknowledgement keeps that circle of life going for other women in our industry,” said Garrett. “It’s an exciting time in IT in terms of adapting to and embracing change – moments that can’t happen successfully without diversity in the workplace. I am grateful to be mentioned with such a wonderful, diverse list of transformational women.”

Award winners will be announced during a special gala dinner ceremony in San Francisco on October 9, 2019.

This marks Atos’ second recognition from Women in IT awards. Atos’ Global Chief Diversity Officer Denise Reed Lamoreaux won the 2019 award for Diversity Initiative of the Year earlier this year at a ceremony in New York.
