Atos’ Denise Reed Lamoreaux earns Diversity Initiative of the Year award
Information Age’s Women in IT US awards recognized Atos’ Global Chief Diversity Officer Denise Reed Lamoreaux as the 2019 winner for Diversity Initiative of the Year at the awards ceremony Tuesday evening.
The Women in IT Awards is the technology world’s largest and most influential diversity program aiming to shine a light on female tech talent. The award highlights the success of women who lead the establishment of diversity programs in their companies and promote inclusion within their communities.
“We always seek to showcase the success and inclusion of our diverse employees, and I am thankful to be recognized within that effort,” said Lamoreaux commenting on her win. “At Atos, we are working extremely hard to make sure every group is represented, that every employee has an opportunity. We will not stop until everyone feels that their place is found and that they can be their authentic selves at work.”
Lamoreaux has more than 30 years of learning and development experience, aiding Atos to intertwine diversity dimensions like gender, generations, culture, LGBT+ and accessibility into business processes. She has been a crucial leader in recent years for developing Atos’ Women’s Affinity Groups to showcase talents and provide women with roadmaps to successfully navigate their careers. As a result in 2018, the Women Who Succeed program increased the number of women working at Atos and women in senior roles.
The 2019 Women in IT US awards marks the second annual ceremony to take place in New York. Business-technology magazine Information Age has organized the event since its launch in 2015, and this year it expanded to Singapore, Berlin, Toronto and Bucharest.
