Atos Scientific Community gains four North America members

July 26, 2019 – The Atos Scientific Community, a global network of more than 150 top scientists, engineers and forward thinkers from across the Group, gains four new members based in North America. With these new additions, the North America region’s Scientific Community membership grows to 20 members. New members include Janine Skinner, Pawan Trivedi, Manish Mehta and Gowri Shankar Vembu.

Gowri Shankar Vembu, Senior Director, Life Sciences at Atos North America, adds to the Scientific Community competency with his expertise in digital transformation strategies that drive the emergence of new business models for life-science companies, resulting in data-driven decision making and rewarding customer relationships. His expertise helps shape the future of technology in life science research and business.

As a data protection officer for Atos North America, Janine Skinner brings compliance and policy expertise to the Scientific Community. In her role, she works toward ensuring the company is compliant in North America laws and accomplishing policy procedures. Janine implements and maintains data privacy and protection principals, analyzes HIPAA standards and compliance across healthcare accounts, maintains Atos global policy for GDPR, and implements security programs. In addition, she accomplished the processing of more than 300 data protection documents within a tight 2-month timeframe for Atos to be EU GDPR compliant.

As a client partner, Manish Mehta serves Atos North America’s healthcare business, and is responsible for building profitable long-term client relationships and strategic alliances at Atos. His skills in leading complex turnarounds and creating the vision to drive digital transformations and performance improvements to fuel growth and implementation of the Atos global strategy will help further the overall mission of the Scientific Community.

Pawan Trivedi serves as a principal consultant for Atos North America specializing in DevOps, agile, cloud, automation and artificial intelligence. He brings more than 19 years of diverse IT experience in professional services to the Scientific Community. With more than 15 years in finance and investment banking, he has helped fortune 500 customers in the design and implementation of greenfield development, cloud and automation solutions.
