STEM Ambassadors
Being a STEM Ambassador is about engaging and enthusing young people with science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Our graduates, interns and apprentices (GIA’s) are invited to become a STEM Ambassador to help encourage students at schools across the UK to consider further study of STEM subjects and progression into related careers, inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals. It offers our GIA’s the chance to give something back to education and the wider community, whilst giving them the chance to develop their own skills.

‘Joining the Atos STEM Ambassador team as committee lead has been a hugely rewarding and enjoyable experience. Alongside building my Atos network, I have had the opportunity to take part in STEM organised events, building connections with STEM ambassadors from other organisations. One such event was the Big Bang competition, where students devised their own STEM projects and presented them at local, regional and then national competitions. Being able to chat to pupils interested in STEM and discuss their original ideas was a brilliant and reciprocal learning experience. I highly recommend getting involved in the STEM Ambassador programme as part of your Atos journey – it offers unique personal development, networking, teamworking, confidence building and public speaking opportunities.‘
