GIA Committee
At Atos, you can be part of the Graduate, Intern and Apprentice (GIA) Committee. The committee helps to enhance the Atos experience by creating initiatives for everybody to get involved with, making this a great place to work for all graduates, interns and apprentices.
The opportunities range from volunteering within schools and organising STEM events, to organising peer shadowing for the GIA community – a great way to learn more about other areas of the business. There are many opportunities, such as being part of our events team which organises our weekly and monthly socials, as well as our yearly Christmas parties. We also have a social media team who manage our GIA communications, newsletters and social media accounts – a great opportunity for you to bring your creativity to Atos!
Mary, Sales & Marketing Graduate
‘As the GIA committee co-chair, I have a keen ambition to grow and develop our GIA community at Atos. We have supported a range of initiatives such as Peer Shadowing, STEMNET, Antz Fundraising, Social Media, Social Events and the GIA Newsletter, all of which play a significant role in connecting our community.
We have the flexibility to introduce new initiatives and one example of this is Executalk. This is an opportunity for GIAs to learn from the senior members of our organisation in a space where they feel comfortable to ask questions. As well as all of the great initiatives we support, we have a lot of fun through various social events – we even took 27 GIAs to Amsterdam in May! I’ve really enjoyed my time on the GIA committee and feel privileged to have built a strong network of GIAs across the UK&I.’
