Charity Support

At Atos, we believe in supporting our local communities as well as businesses and our graduates are involved in supporting a range of charity and community event throughout the year.

For Comic Relief and Sport Relief, graduates join our call centres in Crewe, Wolverhampton and Durham, put on their red noses and fancy dress, and take to the phones to take donations from thousands of callers across the UK. Our graduates have also braved the challenging 10k obstacle-ridden Men’s Health “Survival of the Fittest” event, and others have taken part in the 10-12 mile obstacle course challenge Tough Mudder, which claims to be ‘Probably the Toughest Event on the Planet’.

Our most recent graduate community challenge focussed on the Wingate Special Children’s Trust, which offers specialist residential accommodation and recreational activities for children and young adults with special needs. Our graduates spent a day giving practical support to the trust, whether creating a nature trail, enhancing gardens, or painting and decorating. By participating in the challenge, our graduates made a huge difference to the lives of children with disabilities.

‘Our community challenge was a really fun and enjoyable part of the graduate induction. Our group cleared pathways to help make the sensory garden more accessible for the children, and we rolled our sleeves up to paint fences and benches in the garden. It was a great team building exercise and our work was really appreciated by the team at the Wingate trust. We had a great sense of achievement and really felt our contributions had made a positive difference to support the great work by the trust.’
