Atos launches new Anti Money Laundering and Fraud Analytics service

Atos, a leader in digital services, has launched a pioneering Anti Money Laundering and Fraud Analytics Service to help banking businesses through a period of digital transformation by addressing financial security threats.

Atos is working with Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA), the global leader in Financial Crime and Compliance Management, to offer the Oracle Financial Services Anti Money Laundering suite of products as a service to banks and building societies. The pay-as-you-go service provides a ready-to-go, market-leading solution with low upfront costs and no additional infrastructure or IT resource, which can result in quick implementation.

Providing a scalable solution, OFSAA is built on a platform with a single data repository for fraud and financial crime detection, prevention and reporting activities. The service is equipped to adapt to meet the full spectrum of enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance needs that are posing a threat to the industry now and in the future.

Steve Short, Head of Financial Services at Atos UK&I, said: “With anti-money laundering and financial crime on the rise and constantly evolving, banks must move quickly to address these threats.

“The need for digital and operational transformation is high due to the threat of disruption, security breaches and integration failure.

“Our innovative solution will help the banking sector to overcome barriers such as legacy infrastructures and budgets to provide a stronger defence to the prevention and detection of digital financial crime.”

Through the system, banks are able to centrally manage, assess and report on operation risks and controls, helping to manage financial crime investigations and operations across multiple jurisdictions and lines of business.

Pre-installed in a private cloud and already configured for AML and Fraud, the service removes the barriers of time and cost that have made this comprehensive and powerful toolset available only to the biggest global banks. It provides enhanced application management and service desk support, removing the need to retain OFSAA technical skills.
Atos, a Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), is one of the top three service providers to the financial sector in Europe. The company has 15,000 Financial Services experts who are dedicated to designing, delivering and managing effective, tailored, sector-based services and solutions to banks worldwide.
