Atos rejiggers Sequana supercomputers
November 29, 2018 – The Sequana line of supercomputers from the Bull division of Atos offers some of the highest compute density available in the HPC realm. Companies looking at the Sequana X1000 machines today might want to take a gander at the forthcoming Sequana XH2000 systems, which have a more streamlined rack structure and which will also support AMD’s future “Rome” Epyc server chips as well as 100 Gb/sec Ethernet interconnects, faster 200 Gb/sec InfiniBand interconnects, and current 100 Gb/sec BXI interconnects that Atos already supports in the Sequana X1000 systems.
