Atos Expands Business and Platform Solutions Integrator Partner Program Agreement with Siemens to Provide MOM Software

Partnership enables the next generation of manufacturing, connecting data, machines, people and processes in real-time

Dallas, TX, May 9, 2017

Atos, an international leader in digital services, today announced it is expanding its consulting and systems integrator partner program agreement with Siemens’ product lifecycle management (PLM) software business in Canada, U.S. and Mexico, adding support for the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software space. As part of this agreement, Atos will participate in the MOM Expertise Alliance Center (MEAC), a community of highly skilled partners providing MOM-specific services to manufacturers.

Through the MEAC program, Siemens and Atos are positioned to digitally revolutionize manufacturing with innovative end-to-end solutions and services delivering the next generation of hyper-efficient, connected manufacturing technologies, processes and people, while providing intelligent products and processes. This program also strengthens Siemens and Atos’ ambition to expand its leadership position in helping customers achieve their goals in digital manufacturing and supply chains.

“We are pleased the Atos-Siemens relationship continues to grow in the U.S., Canada and Mexico,” said Stephen Shibel, Senior Vice President for Business & Platform Solutions, Atos North American Operations. “The extended alliance will enable Atos and Siemens to deliver significant value to our customers in their journey toward realizing the next generation of hyper-connected manufacturing solutions in real-time, resulting in seamless efficiencies, increased productivity and impeccable quality — a distinct competitive advantage for our valued customers.”

Established in 2011, the Atos and Siemens partnership enabled the two companies to develop leading edge solutions for digital manufacturing aimed at delivering added value to their customers through the integration of business innovation technologies. The next generation smart factory will automatically re-route work, anticipate bottlenecks and identify areas of underused capacity. Manufacturers will also be able to customize production, enable predictive maintenance, and operate continuously at unprecedented levels of efficiency.

“Siemens PLM Software is committed to strengthening its partnership with Atos to help enhance the end-user experience of our customers,” said Andrea Mulas, MOM Alliances Director Americas, Siemens PLM Software. “Together we provide open, integrated solutions to improve manufacturing productivity.”
