Worldline in zee met customweb voor aansluiting Sips op open-source winkelwagens

Worldline – een onderdeel van Atos dat is gespecialiseerd in elektronische transactiediensten – en customweb – deskundig in de ontwikkeling van ‘payment plug-ins’ voor e-commerce oplossingen – hebben een partnership gesloten. Deze samenwerking heeft tot doel het betaalplatform Sips te verbinden met alle belangrijke open-source e-commerce oplossingen. Als resultaat van dit partnership biedt Worldline retailers een snelle en efficiënte oplossing om Sips eenvoudig te installeren op hun e-commerce website. Dit maakt het mogelijk voor 100 procent te besparen op uren die ontwikkeling in eigen beheer met zich mee brengt.

Sips – de oplossing van Worldline op het gebied van elektronische betalingen – is het betaalplatform van ruim 45.000 online retailers in Europa. Het platform heeft in 2013 meer dan 440 miljoen transacties verwerkt. Gebruikers profiteren van internationale verbindingen met kopers in verschillende valuta, toegang tot zowel internationale als lokale betaalmethoden, instrumenten ter voorkoming van fraude en een omgeving waarin de klant beschikt over verschillende kanalen.

Customweb is een bedrijf dat is gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling van plug-ins voor open-source e-commerce oplossingen, waaronder Magento, PrestaShop en WooCommerce (WordPress e-commerce oplossing). Een belangrijke strategische focus van customweb is het faciliteren van de acceptatie van betalingen in webshops. Dit wordt weerspiegeld in haar merk sellXed dat een mix is tussen ‘sell’ en ‘relaxed’. Customweb heeft plug-ins ontwikkeld die geschikt zijn voor Sips voor 17 open-source online winkelwagentjes. Met behulp van deze plug-ins kunnen retailers zich aanpassen aan gebruikelijke lokale betaalmethodes van klanten: BCMC in België, iDEAL in Nederland en Sofortüberweisung in Duitsland. Al deze plug-ins bieden toepassingen als betaling met één click, zodat de klantbeleving op websites van retailers sterk wordt verbeterd door een versnelling van het aankoopproces.

Hoogwaardige toepassingen en services

“Alle plug-ins zijn beschikbaar in het Duits, Italiaans, Frans, Engels, Spaans en Nederlands. In combinatie met lokale betaalmethodes stelt dit Sips en sellXed in staat hun reikwijdte in Europa te vergroten en de grenzen te verbreden naar nieuwe markten. Bovendien kunnen we rechtstreekse ondersteuning in het Frans, Engels en Duits bieden wanneer klanten hieraan tijdens de integratie behoefte hebben”, vertelt Sascha Krüsi, medeoprichter van customweb.

“We hebben besloten de handen ineen te slaan met customweb met als doel beschikbare plug-ins voortdurend te verbeteren en retailers toegang te bieden tot alle hoogwaardige toepassingen en services die we hebben ontwikkeld op ons betaalplatform. Alle plug-ins zijn gecertificeerd door teams van Worldline in nauwe samenwerking met customweb”, aldus Thierry Debuf, hoofd Operations van Sips van Worldline.

De Sips-oplossing van Worldline wordt gedemonstreerd tijdens het Europese event Merchant Risk Council dat van 14 tot en met 16 mei in Parijs plaatsvindt.
