With GreenForecast, Anticipate and Optimize your production of renewable Energy
Weather conditions strongly influence the production of renewable electricity sources (wind and solar-power). GreenForecast allows producers and aggregators of renewable electricity, to forecast the quantity of “green” energy.
For energy transition and the fight against global warming, this innovative service supports the development of renewable energy sources within the French and European power-grid. Machine learning algorithms, precisely tuned to the characteristics of your technical assets, allow for customized forecasts and data analytics. Forecast times range from intraday to +7 days into the future.
The Platform
The innovative quality of the platform lies in the self-adapting machine learning, combined with statistical and physical models, to obtain high quality forecasts. All results of the different algorithms are continuously processed and included in the future forecasts, providing data for time intervals down to 15 minutes. Both algorithms compete with each other to take different production conditions into account and to ensure precise forecasting:
