Atos unterstützte das IKT-Masterpiece premierte ÖBV Projekt VAMOS

Wien, am 25. Oktober 2017 -Der LSZ CIO-Kongress, der in der Vorwoche im steirischen Loipersdorf stattfand, ist die führende Plattform für den Informations- und Erfahrungsaustausch von Expertinnen und Experten aus IT-Fachabteilungen sowie Anbieter- und Dienstleistungsunternehmen.

Alle zwei Jahre werden im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung Österreichs hervorragendste Projekte aus dem Bereich Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie mit dem so genannten IKT-Masterpiece ausgezeichnet. Prämiert werden solche Projekte, die beispielsweise mit ihrer Wertschöpfung oder Effizienzsteigerung einen positiven Effekt auf Stakeholder wie Kundinnen und Kunden, Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter oder die Umwelt haben und durch ihre besondere Innovationskraft bestechen.

Dieses Jahr konnte die Österreichische Beamtenversicherung (ÖBV) mit ihrem Projekt VAMOS den dritten Platz für sich verbuchen. In nur drei Jahren Projektlaufzeit stemmte sie das in Österreich einzigartige Mammutprojekt, die vollständige Umstellung auf ein modernes, unabhängiges IT-System. Im Juli 2016 erfolgte die Ablöse aller Altsysteme durch eine integrierte Gesamtlösung. Die bis dato 20 unterschiedlichen Anwendungen wurden auf fünf reduziert, die jetzt in einer durchgängigen, spartenübergreifenden Software abgebildet werden. Bei der Implementierung unterstützte der IT-Dienstleister Atos, der umfassende Expertise in der Finanzdienstleistungsbranche mitbringt.

Das neue System bietet viele Vorteile: Mehr Flexibilität und Effizienz führen zu noch mehr Wirtschaftlichkeit. Dank der INSURANCE3000-Lösung kann die ÖBV ihre laufenden IT-Kosten deutlich reduzieren, denn die Lösung verfügt über einen hohen Automatisierungsgrad, wodurch Abläufe vereinheitlicht und beschleunigt werden. Die zentrale Verwaltung aller Daten an einer Stelle sorgt zudem für kürzere Bearbeitungszeiten im Kundenservice.
