Analysen und Prognosen in Echtzeit: Modernes Liquiditätsmanagement für Banken supported by Atos

Die äußerst kurzfristige Verfügbarkeit von Liquidität ist eine Anforderung, mit der Banken immer häufiger konfrontiert werden. Voraussetzung hierfür ist ein übersichtliches Liquiditätsmanagement. Dafür steht das Softwarepaket CRISTAL von Diamis, einem Joint Venture von Atos und Sopra Steria. Zur Optimierung des globalen Intraday Liquidity Managements setzt nun auch die italienische Bank Credito Emiliano auf CRISTAL. Als Teil des bankinternen Modernisierungsprogrammes für das Investmentbanking Informationssystems (Area Finanza) verfügt das Kreditinstitut nun über präzise Liquiditätsprognosen und Transaktionsanalysen im Treasury Bereich.

Jederzeit den Überblick behalten

Mithilfe von CRISTAL kann die Credito Emiliano den gesamten Cashflow, verteilt auf verschiedene Finanzinstrumente und Laufzeiten, konsolidieren und überwachen. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht CRISTAL die zeitgleiche Überprüfung des tatsächlichen Cashflows und kontrolliert die verfügbaren Assets mit Blick auf die erwarteten Abrechnungsaktivitäten – in Übereinstimmung mit dem italienischen Bankenrecht und der im Rahmen von Basel III veröffentlichten „Principles for Sound Liquidity Risk Management and Supervision“.

CRISTAL ist mit Marktinfrastrukturen verbunden. So kann die Credito Emiliano ihre Konten bei der Banca d’Italia in Target2, Zahlungsverkehrssystem des Euros, und Target2-Securities, europäische Wertpapier-Plattform, in Echtzeit überwachen. Außerdem umfasst das Softwarepaket das Echtzeit-Monitoring von Konten bei Hinterlegungs- und Abrechnungsstellen.
