Last year’s outdoor picnics in Bydgoszcz and Wroclaw had been the first integrations within such a large group since Pandemic. They were successful and reminded us how nice it is to meet all teams and spend some time with good music and other attractions. We were all the more pleased to hear about the next big gatherings – the carnival parties held in January and February under the banner of Big City Life
The last carnival parties we were able to attend in such a large amount took place in 2020. Atos Carnival Parties were always accompanied by a particular topic, where participants could go wild with themed costumes. It was also a time for summing up and rewarding those who stood out the most in projects and activities in our organization. Now, after a long break, we lived to see the return of the events. Events took place in three biggest Atos localizations – in Wroclaw (January 27), Warsaw (February 3) and Bydgoszcz (February 17).
Big City Life
The fun wouldn’t be the same without a theme. The events were kept in the Big City Life atmosphere – we entered the world of movies, casinos, celebrities and the cities that never sleep and are full of diverse cultures. Both the decor of the hall and the games were kept in this atmosphere. We, on the other hand, were able to feel like celebrities by dressing up in elegant outfits. This was the moment when sweatpants and a worn-out T-shirt (so familiar to us while working remotely) could be changed into elegant dresses or shirts.
Attractions
Participants were mainly treated to dancing together, led by a DJ. Those who wanted to try their luck could compete with others in the casino. And here, as known – some cards favor some, others not, but it was an interesting way to spend time. The event was also, above all, a time to talk together, integrate with teams or other people with whom we work on a daily basis. Everyone could find something for themselves. And we had fun until late at night 🙂
About 2,500 employees participated in all carnival parties. We can’t wait for more such big events!
