Spadel is a European family-owned mineral water group that produces and markets natural mineral waters, spring waters and refreshing mineral water soft drinks. Its mission, as a long-standing player in sustainable development and innovation, is to provide a refreshing, hydrating and natural choice to consumers across Europe.
Since most of the group’s locations were running SAP ERP, it upgraded to S/4HANA. Spadel’s Bulgarian entity Devin, on the other hand, was running Microsoft Dynamics NAV integrated with multiple solutions. In pursuit of business efficiencies, system simplification and process modernization, Spadel chose to migrate all Devin ERP processes to SAP S/4HANA using Fiori.
Far-reaching and innovative
The Atos Bulgaria SAP competency center proposed and led an innovative S/4HANA implementation for Devin, covering most SAP digital core processes, including:
- Finance
- Control
- Procurement
- Production execution
- Quality management
- Material and warehouse management
- Plant maintenance
The solution is integrated with the Spadel’s manufacturing execution system, automated warehouse (Highbay), customer management solutions (local or SFDC-based) and external data warehouse.
Pooling together
Now, Devin benefits from Spadel’s existing S/4HANA capabilities. The new setup not only supports Devin’s ERP processes and functionalities, but it also enables Spadel’s internal control and reporting. It enhances business flexibility, scalability and agility, and reduces Devin’s need for application management services (AMS).
