Atos volunteers raise over £10,000 on London Poppy Day 2021 for the Royal British Legion

On Thursday 4 November 2021, Atos volunteers and military personnel spent the day selling poppies for the Royal British Legion at Chancery Lane Tube Station for London Poppy Day, the largest single-day street collection of its kind in Europe.

Volunteers consisted of veterans and reservists from the Atos Armed Forces Network (AFN) as well as Atos colleagues. Together with serving personnel from the Army, the Atos volunteers raised over £10,000 for the Royal British Legion, a UK based charity that provides support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces and their families.

Mark Donovan, HLS Client Executive and Chair of the Armed Forces Network, said: “London Poppy Day is a fantastic event which brings together lots of Atos colleagues with or without a military background all in aid of raising a significant amount of money for the Royal British Legion. It was great to be fundraising in-person again after the event being cancelled last year due to COVID-19. I am honoured to lead the Armed Forces Network and am tremendously proud of all our volunteers and their efforts.”
