Atos nimmt am COSMIC EU Projekt zur Entwicklung eines leistungsfähigen Kontrollsystems für Versandcontainer teil

Atos, ein weltweit führender Anbieter für digitale Transformation, hat seine Teilnahme am europäischen COSMIC-Projekt bekannt geben. Das Projekt zielt darauf ab ein fortschrittliches Kontrollsystem zu entwickeln, das CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive)-Bedrohungen in Versandcontainern und Häfen erkennt. Es wurde als Teil des angesehenen EU-Förderungsprogramms Horizon 2020 mit 3,5 Millionen Euro unterstützt.

Die Bedrohung durch von Terroristen verwendete CBRNE-Komponenten ist ein generelles Problem – nicht nur für die Europäische Union, sondern auch für die globale Sicherheit. Diese Materialien können in Containern oder Fahrzeugen versteckt und geschmuggelt werden. Atos leitet den Projektbereich „System Analytics and User“ und ist für die Entwicklung des COSMIC-Systems verantwortlich, das den Output unterschiedlicher Endgeräte und Sensoren analysiert und darüber hinaus zusätzliche Informationen aus externen Quellen auswertet.
