Advanced Access Control System von Atos unterstützt Sicherheit bei den Olympischen Spielen in Tokyo

Atos, ein weltweit führender Anbieter für die digitale Transformation, hat für die innovativsten Olympischen Spiele 2020 in Tokyo das Advanced Access Control System (AACS) entwickelt.

Als globaler IT-Partner des Internationalen Olympischen Committees (IOC) steuert Atos das Advanced Access Control System bei. Dieses wird unterstützt durch Lösungen und Ausstattung von Panasonic sowie dem Facial Recognition System von NEC, beide Key Partner von Atos in diesem Projekt.

Um sicherzustellen, dass der Zugang von rund 300.000 Menschen, die an den Olympischen Spielen in Tokyo 2020 beteiligt sind, reibungslos verläuft, wird Atos die Sicherheitssysteme während des Events mittels der Gesichtserkennung von NEC verstärken. Dies ist ein äußerst sicherer ID-Prozess mit kürzerer Eintrittszeit im Vergleich zu den Zugangsberechtigungen vergangener Veranstaltungen. Es ist das erste Mal in der Olympischen Geschichte, dass ein Gesichtserkennungs-System für Athleten, Freiwillige und Mitarbeiter eingesetzt wird.
