About Lionel de Souza
Lionel has a master degree in digital law and new technologies from the University of Paris XI and an LL.M in intellectual property and information technology from the University of Edinburgh. He also has a diploma in English translation from the Institut Supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction (I.S.I.T.) in Paris and has been a French avocat since 2003. Before joining Atos, Lionel spent nine years as a lawyer ("avocat") at Hogan Lovells where his primary areas of work concerned privacy and data protection, e-commerce, the drafting and negotiation of IT contracts (software protection and exploitation, outsourcing, etc.), encryption regulation as well as the intellectual property aspects of information technology and the internet. Before Hogan Lovells, Lionel had spent four years advising on media law, information technology law, intellectual property law and company law.,
