Competition in France

Scientists, academics and researchers can now – individually and in team – register their projects in one of the following categories: Advanced computing & Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on Decarbonation.

The competition is running from March 23rd, to June 30th 2022.
The submission deadline is May, 2nd.

The winners – one per category – will receive €10,000 to assist them in their research. Additionally, GENCI will offer 200,000 computing hours to the winners in the High-Performance Computing category.

GENCI

Since its creation in 2007 by the French Public Authorities, GENCI’s main role is to equip the three French computing centers with HPC technology and make the systems available for local researchers. They also aim to support the creation of an integrated European high performance computing ecosystem and to work to promote numerical simulation and high performance computing within the academic and industrial communities.
