Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, announces that it is teaming up with Portima, the market leader in applications for Belgian independent insurance brokers, to release PortiSign on Mobile, Belgium’s first solution that allows customers to quickly, efficiently and reliably sign insurance documents using their smartphone or tablet. The solution runs on Atos Canopy Orchestrated Hybrid Cloud and on Portima’s infrastructure.

Atos, a global leader in digital transformation, today introduces the world’s first commercially available machine-system capable of simulating up to 40 quantum bits (Qubits). The simulator, named ‘Atos Quantum Learning Machine’ (Atos QLM), is powered by an ultra-compact supercomputer and a universal programming language. Available in 5 power configurations (30 to 40 Qubits) to cover the needs of different organizations, Atos QLM enables researchers, students and engineers to develop and test today the quantum applications and algorithms of tomorrow. The machine, designed by the ‘Atos Quantum’ laboratory – the first major quantum industry program in Europe, launched in November 2016 – has developed several top-class innovations which have resulted in numerous patent applications.

This client satisfaction survey, the most representative in the market, measures customer satisfaction of the delivered services with large outsourcing contracts among 200 companies in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Every time I attend a presentation on GDPR – you know – the General Data Protection Regulation, which aims to guarantee more privacy to the consumer – I get the undefined feeling the boy should have had when the emperor passed by “in his new clothes”; isn’t anyone really seeing that he is naked?
