- Atos signed parity.org´s charter in 2018, committing to the advancement of women into senior level roles.
- Atos signed UN Standards of Conduct for Business in 2018, aligning ourselves with the focus on inclusivity for all.
- L’ Autre Cercle Charter, pledging support to our LGBT+ employees, signed in 2019.
- Our job descriptions use language free from gender, age, and other biases, in alignment with our culture of inclusivity.
- In 2024 Atos outlined several DE&I actions like raising awareness and educating team members through a range of initiatives such as International Women’s Day, He for She, Movember Drop-in at New Atos, World Menopause Awareness Day, the Leading Ladies Event and Pride Month.
- The Changing Face of Technology event, a well-established initiative supporting underrepresented students, was hosted in partnership with Google and VMware. In 2024, over 140 students from 34 universities participated alongside 120 mentors from Atos Group, and Google.
- Atos Group is ranked #147 out of 850 in the Financial Times-Statista Diversity Leaders rankings for Europe.
- In 2024, Atos UK retained “Leader” status as a Disability Confident Employer and UK colleagues were listed in Tech Women 100 Awards and won Women in Tech Excellence Mentor of the Year.
Digital accessibility
Atos has a Group Accessibility Office that delivers programs that support the governance of accessibility standards and delivery of accessibility-compliant services to clients. The accessibility office works with the Global Accessibility Practice on technical delivery of expertise and services.
Our experts hold a range of certifications from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) including Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS), Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA), and Document Accessibility Specialist (ADS) certifications. Portfolio offerings include:
- Accessibility as a Service delivering Workplace Accessibility and Assistive Technology Support.
- Accessibility testing to recognized national and international accessibility standards such as RGAA, WCAG 2.x (ISO 40500), and EN 301 549.
- Data platforms for managing Accessibility.
- Accessibility Advisory.
As a group, we focus on addressing the key challenges that people face to going digital:
- Accessibility: enabling people to have equal access to use digital products and services through building for accessibility, and interoperability with assistive technologies.
- Skills: improving digital literacy and knowledge of assistive technologies that help people with disabilities.
- Motivation and trust: understanding the reasons why using digital technology is a good thing and feeling confident in using it in multiple different ways.
- Partnership & Supply Chain: Atos has deep relationships on accessibility with partners and suppliers, such as The ILO Global Business Disability Network, IAAP, Microsoft, Amazon, SAP, ServiceNow and Google.
- Commitment: Atos is an active partner of the Valuable 500 initiative to accelerate disability inclusion and end exclusion through business.
- Recognition: Atos’ activities on accessibility are recognized in international forums and awards (Disability Smart Awards, IAAP, Disability Power 100 List).
Digital education
Atos is committed to attract and nurture today’s most talented digital experts from diverse backgrounds and offer them the opportunity to build the new digital world.
- Our recruitment efforts are focused on experts. In 2024, Atos recruited 4,504 juniors, representing 50% of all new hires.
- Atos has a strong commitment to playing a key part in the education of the future of young professionals, the Group has developed strong institutional partnerships with 185 universities worldwide and partners to enhance career opportunities for Gen Z careers and adapt business areas for greater application-friendliness.
- The team “VR Speech Trainer” won the Atos IT Challenge 2023 “The Metaverse – New experiences for business ecosystems”
- In 2024, Atos deployed several AI related programs such as Digital Fluency Program on GEN AI, Copilot Fundamentals and GEN AI Literacy spread over different levels.
- Atos employees have also access to various Atos University Academy programs in alignment with our Be Digital program.
- 105,746 certifications were obtained by Atos employees in 2024, with 94,115 focusing on advanced digital technologies such as AI, machine learning, cloud computing and cybersecurity.
Employee experience
The “Employee Experience” program is a key Group transformation program. It offers Atos employees a workplace where they can grow and flourish thanks to a more hybrid working environment, and to the reassurance that all situations are managed with fairness and in accordance with prevailing rules around ethics and human rights. This program includes wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, social value, life@work and provides guidance and support for local initiatives in all Atos geographies.
