Speakers

Emmanuel Le Roux

SVP, Head of HPC and Quantum

Since April 2022, Emmanuel has served as Senior Vice President for HPC, AI and Quantum within the Big Data and Security Division at Atos. Emmanuel is responsible for the overall big data infrastructure portfolio. He leads the development of innovative big data analytics, machine learning and AI solutions for the enterprise market. The global portfolio includes Atos enterprise servers (x86 and mainframe), SAP Hana, Oracle, Hadoop, AI and analytics appliances, as well as big data software and services teams.

Emmanuel has many years of experience in the IT and telecom industry, having worked in product management, business development, marketing and sales as well as R&D, architecture and strategy and program management. He is an expert in big data solutions (Hadoop, Analytics, ML and AI), IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking), server virtualization, cloud computing, OS, database, middleware, OSS/BSS and VOIP technologies.

Eric Eppe

Global Head of Portfolio, Solutions, and Quantum Business Units

Eric started his career with Alcatel as a CAE system engineer, then moved to Intergraph as a consultant. He was with SGI for almost 10 years, with product and business ownership for storage product lines. After starting and managing two companies in the trading business, he joined Atos in 2015 as Director of Storage and Data Management for HPC. In 2021 he was appointed Global Head of the Quantum Computing Business Unit.

In his role at Atos, Eric has spearheaded the inception of BullSequana XH2000 and BullSequana XH3000 supercomputers, xStor storage appliances and other products.

Andy Grant

Global Head of HPC, AI and Quantum Sales

Andy has over 25 years of experience in HPC and has been responsible for many top 50 HPC and large-scale AI deployments. In his current role, he is responsible for leading sales for large-scale HPC projects across all market sectors and for delivering strategic initiatives.

Prior to this role, he ran Atos HPC, big data and cybersecurity division in the UK and Ireland. Before joining Atos, Andy was head of sales and business development for IBM HPC in the UK&I, where he managed sales and technical teams selling complex HPC, cloud and big data solutions. Andy was a founding member of the UK Government’s e-Infrastructure Leadership Council, which advises the Government on policy issues related to HPC and Big Data.

Steve Hebert

VP and Global Head of Cloud HPC for Atos-Nimbix

Steve started in technical sales in semiconductors with Texas Instruments after earning his degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University. Today, he is a technology industry veteran of over 25 years with a strong track record of operational execution and sales growth at both startup and large companies. Steve is the founder of cloud supercomputing company, Nimbix, Inc., which was acquired by Atos, and now serves as VP and Global Head of Cloud HPC for Atos-Nimbix.
