Please refer to the definitions below before choosing a priority on the form
- Immediate (within 2 hours): The breach is active or involves highly sensitive data (e.g., PII, financial information). It requires an on-the-spot response to stop ongoing damage or system compromise.
- Urgent (within 24 hours): The breach is contained but impacts a significant amount of data or a critical business operation. An investigation and response plan must begin immediately to prevent escalation.
- Standard (within 2 days): The breach is minor and contained, with no immediate threat to business operations or sensitive data. A formal investigation and response plan are required, but not with extreme urgency.
- Low Priority (within 7 days): The breach is minimal, involving non-critical, public, or test data. The incident is not a threat to business continuity and can be addressed during standard operations.
