“By connecting the coolers we are starting our journey towards digitalizing the marketplace and establishing a connected environment with our customers and shoppers. Such an environment will allow us to accelerate our speed to market and improve operational efficiency, while at the same time gaining more insightful market analytics to engage better with our consumers.”

The Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company is the first company to operate a large-scale rollout of Atos Codex’s pioneering Connected Cooler program
Atos Codex transforms data into business outcomes. This unique portfolio of business-driven, advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things solutions brings insights to generate new revenue opportunities, deliver engaging customer experiences and improve efficiency, while guaranteeing data security and trust.
By the end of 2018, CCHBC and Atos will have connected 300,000 coolers out of a total of about 1.4 million coolers in operation across 28 countries. This service will provide CCHBC with access to huge amounts of point-of-sale data, such as cooler placement in the store, availability, temperature, stock, product placement, and customer behavior and trends.
The end-to-end solution from Atos harnesses IoT, advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence technologies to deliver valuable insights to CCHBC, transforming the consumer retail experience with increased productivity and new ways of consumer engagement. The solution connects coolers via sensors to a cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform and harnesses proven partnerships including Microsoft and domain expert eBest IoT.
The Connected Cooler service from Atos Codex will allow CCHBC to develop a fully connected asset ecosystem. As well as enabling CCHBC to easily manage the data from millions of Connected Coolers, this end-to-end service provides the basis for turning further assets such as shelves and vending machines into IoT devices. Furthermore, CCHBC will be able to use the Connected Coolers to engage with customers in real-time on mobile apps and to generate customized offers and near-me promotions.
Google Cloud and Atos form a global partnership to deliver secure hybrid cloud, machine learning and collaboration solutions to the enterprise.
