Atos today announces the launch of Atos Sovereign AI Platform which helps public and private sector organizations setup optimized, on-premise infrastructure and provides end-to-end customized services for the production and maintenance of AI and GenAI models. Part of the Atos Group’s Sovereign AI portfolio, this new offering complements the existing BullSequana AI offering which is designed to address organizations’ concerns about data sovereignty, data privacy and latency. Atos Sovereign AI Platform is an end-to-end offering that uses a reference architecture based on Dell Technologies’ leading generative AI (GenAI) solutions including both a framework and customized services from Atos, offering clients full control over their data and AI models.
Atos Sovereign AI Platform standardizes the approach and operationalizes the implementation of AI and GenAI models in a highly scalable and secure environment for a wide range of use cases in industries such as healthcare, public sector, finance and utilities. The offering is now available in France, Germany and the UK, and will gradually be offered in additional locales. It is entirely adaptable to local IT sovereignty implementation standards and practices.
Atos provides managed services for machine learning operations (MLOps) and application integration for the production of AI models that are delivered on-premises. With a streamlined approach that covers everything from MLOps to hardware, Atos Sovereign AI Platform is an end-to-end offering that integrates services including business needs assessment, use case analysis, model selection, customization and implementation.
The solution supports public and private-sector organizations that are looking to implement AI-driven strategies while addressing the risks of intellectual property loss, data leakage or privacy and compliance violations.
Gartner research has shown that 79% of corporate strategists see AI and analytics as critical to their success. Yet despite its importance, 37% of IT decision makers remain hesitant to implement GenAI because of a lack of sovereignty.
To address these challenges, Atos developed an innovative customized framework which runs AI software close to an organization’s data and secures the entire AI hardware and software stack.
