01Talent Africa and Atos inaugurate first ‘Zone01’ collective intelligence center in Africa

Dakar (Senegal) – November 30, 2022

Today 01Talent Africa, in partnership with Atos, inaugurates its very first Zone01 collective intelligence center in Africa in Dakar, Senegal, within the Atos premises in Cité Keur Gorgui. This new collective intelligence center will welcome several hundred young talents from Senegal and other African countries who will receive a brand-new kind of digital training thanks to a pedagogical model that makes digital accessible to all – whatever the profile, level of study, social origin, age or gender of the candidate. This disruptive pedagogy accelerates the learning process.

Today’s ceremony was hosted by Alpha Barry, Head of Atos in Africa; Mour Seck, General Manager of Atos in Senegal; Momadou Ndoye, Head of Operations in Western & Central Africa, alongside Nicolas Sadirac, Co-Founder and Chief Pedagogic Officer 01 Talent; Deror Sultan, Co-Founder and CEO of 01Talent and Karim Sy, Strategic Partner 01Talent Africa.

01Talent AfricaOver 30 journalists came to celebrate the official opening of the center and listen to the speakers. Afterwards they were able to visit the premises and see where and how the students will study.

Around 6,000 candidates have already completed the selection round. The next step, which are the “pools”, take place at the Zone01 center in Dakar from now until January, where candidates are immersed for 4 weeks in the heart of the 01Edu pedagogy, without classes or teachers, and based on peer-to-peer learning. The 2-year training program will start in February with 120 learners selected from the highest performing candidates of the 3 “pools”.
