Atos and DELL EMC offer largest and most-performing SQL Server® DWH solution on the market

Atos and DELL EMC announce a new breakthrough for Microsoft Data Warehouse Fast Track (DWFT) environments, by proposing 3 certified database reference architectures* which are up to 4 times faster with 5 times more capacity than current market offerings.

The Enhanced Alliance Agreement partnership between DELL EMC and Atos brings together world-leading integrated services from both companies and best-in-breed solutions enabling clients to optimize infrastructure.

Our engineers have designed this Data Warehouse Fast Track (DWFT) Reference Architecture for Microsoft SQL Server leveraging the exceptional performance, scalability and reliability of the BullSequana S400/S800 high-end server from Atos and the VMAX 250F flash array from DELL EMC, making it, by far, the largest and the most performing certified SQL Server DWH solution on a single Symmetric Multi-Processing (SMP) server in the world. It is designed for 320 (S400) or 640 TB (S800) compressed user data capacity.

Our Enhanced Alliance Agreement partnership brings together world leading integrated services from Atos and Dell Technologies and best in breed solutions enabling clients to optimize their IT infrastructure.” said Martin Perzl, Principal Global Architect at DellEMCWe are proud of this jointly pre-engineered Data Warehouse Reference Architecture for Microsoft SQL Server which significantly reduce the development and investment of time, and implementation risks for customers.”

The BullSequana S400 and S800, when coupled with the Dell EMC VMAX flash array, set a new pace for scalability and expandability while ensuring flexibility for all transaction, analytical, and data warehouse workloads.

These extreme capacity and performance reference architectures enable organizations to leverage the investment made on Microsoft DWFT environments and propose solutions ready to face the data deluge as well as develop a virtually limitless central Data warehouse.
