Atos and the Senegalese magazine CIO Mag reinforce their partnership in 2017

We have been working with CIO Mag, the leading African magazine and community for IT managers, in the digital transformation of the African continent for several years and we are now strengthening our partnership in 2017. In order to promote the digital development of African economies and societies, Atos is sponsoring 7 events in sub-Saharan Africa over the coming year.

The ambition of this partnership is not only to strengthen the digital ecosystem of the continent, but also to show how technology can support economic and social development whilst t at the same time recognizing the differing requirements between individual countries and cities. It is about explaining the contribution of the latest technologies, about sharing best practice, but also showcasing how digital solutions can bring concrete solutions to some of the major challenges faced by the continent, such as climate change, universal access to basic services (health, education, electricity, water, transport, etc.) or the modernization of the administration.

Today and tomorrow we will be at the IT Forum in Senegal (Dakar) focusing on the theme of “Senegal and Africa facing the challenges of digital transformation and energy transition”. On this occasion, Mour Seck, CEO of Atos Senegal, is sharing Atos’s vision and technologies’ contributions on the topic. We will also be in Togo on 30th and 31st March, discussing another burning issue: “the challenges of e-government and digital transformation in Togo”. We will be demonstrating our solutions on our stand, where we’ll be talking with experts, customers and partners on the theme of the event.
