Worldline ranked as a market leader in ovum decision matrix for white-label mobile wallet solution

Bezons, 6th April 2017

Worldline [Euronext: WLN], European leader in the payments and transactional services industry, has been ranked market leader in the recently published “Ovum Decision Matrix: Selecting a White-Label Mobile Wallet Solution, 2016-17.”

“Market leader” represents the leading solutions that Ovum believes are worthy of a place on most technology selection shortlists. The vendor has established a commanding market position with a product that is widely accepted as best of breed. The market leaders stand out for their ability to marry a robust and forward-thinking approach to flexible and configurable underlying technology, alongside strong execution skills to support the complex infrastructure needs of most financial institutions.

In its reports, Ovum explains the reasons for selecting Worldline’s Mobile Wallet: “One of the key distinctions between platforms is the ability to connect to a vendor’s own wider systems and services; providers such as Worldline are able to offer a full end-to-end range of services that tie in directly with their wallet offering.” “Worldline’s Mobile Wallet platform offers clients a high degree of configurability and flexibility in operating any mobile wallet service, and is rapidly gaining an impressive track record of large-scale deployments both within financial services and increasingly in other sectors.”

Worldline’s solution presents a very innovative technology that is highly configurable, API-driven, strongly focused on security and fraud prevention, and integrated with many major e-commerce PSPs. A high level of support capabilities enables clients to get the best out of the solution. This results in a large market impact both in client deployments and in use cases covering financial and non-financial services.

Marc-Henri Desportes, Worldline General Manager, said: “We are very proud of this recognition which rewards Worldline’s sustained efforts in offering cutting-edge wallet solutions to the market. Mobile Wallets are at the heart of our strategy to implement seamless customers experience allowing a strong development of the transactional business of our clients with attractive services from omni-channel payments to immediate payment within a secured environment.”
