Univé chooses Atos again as its IT partner

Univé, an insurance company in the Netherlands, has prolonged its contract with Atos to host its entire IT infrastructure for another five years. Atos remains responsible for the management and maintenance of Univé’s business critical infrastructure, and provides a significant contribution to Univé’s goal to serve its customers with seamless online services combined with strong onsite services.
Atos and Univé have maintained a strong partnership since 2009. Atos has continuously managed and controlled Univé's IT systems from its data centres and subsequently ensured IT service for Univé 24/7. These systems are the backbone of the insurer's IT architecture and guarantee that consumer-facing applications, such as the website, policy administration and premium calculation systems can function without interruptions.

Innovation

IT developments are continuous and evolve rapidly. Atos, as one of Univés strategic partners, contributes ideas and advises about innovation and flexible services. Univé is active in various market sectors including property and casualty, a very competitive market in which insurers try to offer their products and services as cost-effectively as possible. Atos can realise significant cost reductions for Univé, partly on the basis of offshoring and nearshoring. Additionally, Univé procures services from Atos based on actual usage, which can easily be upscaled or downscaled as the need for capacity grows or decreases.
