“Atos and Orange Cyberdefense strike an international mobile communications security partnership “

Orange Cyberdefense and Atos, through its technology brand Bull, have signed a strategic partnership to jointly take on the secure mobile terminal communications market.
 

This partnership with Atos completes Orange Cyberdefense range of communications security solutions. Under the agreement, Orange Cyberdefense will be selling Hoox, the most secure smartphone on the market, to its customers.

 

Orange Cyberdefense will be Atos privileged partner to sell solutions and provide secure communication services based on Hoox. The distribution contract will cover Europe, the Middle East and Africa (the EMEA zone).

 

Bull, the technology brand of Atos, moves in as editor and supplier of the Hoox solution and its future developments. A solution for "Hoox App IOS and Android" app is already scheduled to be developed.

The ultra-secure Hoox system

 

Hoox is a secure smartphone designed by Bull and is the first professional native-security smartphone. The material layers, operating system and software were designed to provide a high level of security. Hoox encrypts voice and SMS data and all data stored or exchanged, and protects the applications. The terminal is protected against malware, with anti-intrusion systems operating in the communication ports.

Hoox is a mobility solution certified by the French IT Systems Security Agency ANSSI for the Restricted Distribution communication level.

It was awarded the France Cybersecurity Label in January 2015, and was appraised in a Gartner report, "Critical Capabilities for High-Security Mobility 2015”.
