“Atos named a Top 10 Outsourcing Service Provider by ISG”
Atos, an international leader in digital services, today announced it has been named a Top 10 Outsourcing Service Provider in two categories by Information Services Group (ISG), a leading technology insights, market intelligence and advisory services company.
Atos was among the leading providers in two categories: The Big 10 Sourcing Standouts category for the Americas region and The Big 10 Sourcing Standouts in the EMEA region. Both categories are based on annual contract value (ACV) won over the last 12 months, according to the ISG Global Outsourcing Index™. Now in its 50th consecutive quarter, the ISG Outsourcing Index provides an independent quarterly review of the latest sourcing industry data and trends for enterprises, service providers, analysts and the media.
Eric Grall, Executive Vice President of Managed Services at Atos: “We are delighted that Atos is in the Top 10 outsourcing provider both in the Americas region as well as in the EMEA region. We believe it affirms our continued focus on innovation and our ability to deliver high quality solutions and services. Our Workplace Services offering enables our clients to focus on their business challenges by providing a flexible range of solutions, designed to deliver the best possible user experience to every user, through solutions that embrace new delivery models and the latest technologies – ensuring that each individual has the right tools, at the right time to perform their role to the optimum.”
Outsourcing represents more than half of the Group's revenues with +4.6% year-on-year. Growth materialized in the United Kingdom, mostly benefiting from the ramp-up of major BPO contracts in the Public sector and two contracts with two local Governments. In Germany, the Group signed with K+S – a new customer - in Managed Services and in France, new contracts were signed for the national railway. In Benelux, contracts were renewed with a European institution and a large Dutch bank.
Atos inclusion in the ISG Outsourcing Index is based on data the company submits to ISG each quarter.
“For more than a decade, the ISG Outsourcing Index has been the authoritative source for marketplace intelligence related to outsourcing transaction structures and terms, industry adoption, geographic prevalence and service provider performance,” said Paul Reynolds, chief research officer of ISG. “Atos continues to establish itself as a leading and growing player in the global market for outsourcing services, based on its volume of business in relation to other industry providers.”
