“Atos Receives 2015 SAP® Pinnacle Award: Global Value-Added Reseller of the Year”

Atos, an international digital services company, today announced that it has received a 2015 SAP® Pinnacle Award as the Global Value-Added Reseller of the Year, which recognizes its outstanding contributions as an SAP partner. SAP presents these awards annually to the top partners that have excelled in developing and growing their partnership with SAP and helping customers run better. Winners and finalists in 22 categories were chosen based on recommendations from the SAP field, customer feedback and performance indicators in the following umbrella categories: Exponential Growth, Cloud, Platform and Value Creation.

Atos will be present at SAPPHIRE® NOW, SAP’s international customer conference being held in Orlando, Fla., May 5–7, at booth 352.

“This award is a high-profile recognition of the excellent service we provide by working so closely with SAP to deliver enhanced value for our clients, developing and expanding their success. Our latest success started close to three years ago when we signed the global value-added reseller contract with SAP and brought on board 35 of our country organizations to this program. Over this period we have more than doubled our business, a tremendous growth in turnover, and at the same time have delivered best-in-class services to our customers,” explained Frenk Verburgt, Global Head of SAP alliance management at Atos.

He continued, “Atos’s early adoption of the SAP HANA platform, and our wide end-to-end portfolio, contributed to the success we have reaped as an SAP partner. We have been a partner in multiple successful customer projects globally, where we helped to develop and implement the next-generation business suite to manage Big Data and processes fast and efficiently. The company’s goal is to continue paving the way for its customers’ success.”

One example of where Atos has successfully delivered an SAP solution is with customer TESY, the largest Bulgarian producer of household electric appliances and electric storage water heaters, which operates in 57 countries on 4 continents.

“By implementing the SAP ERP application, TESY aimed to reengineer its core business processes, such as production planning and procurement, and to improve the quality of data, management reporting and business analysis,” said Desislava Dishleva, finance manager at TESY. “The success of the project was ensured by working with highly professional consultants from Atos during the implementation to deploy the finance, controlling, production planning, materials management, warehouse management, and sales and distribution modules of SAP ERP. As a result, less time is currently needed to check stock availability and respond to customer requests, integration of the sales and production planning processes is achieved, and a solid platform for the future development of additional functionality is available”.

Atos has been working with SAP for over 30 years and recently received the Sustainability Partner of the Year in 2012 and 2013 and Application Co-Innovation Partner of the Year in 2013. “More and more companies are choosing solutions from SAP than ever before, and in many ways, we attribute that to the strength and commitment of our partners,” said Rodolpho Cardenuto, president, Global Partner Operations, SAP. “Together, we are working with partners like Atos to help our customers run simply and at their best. Atos exemplifies leadership and a can-do attitude, and we congratulate everyone involved in Atos for this well-deserved 2015 SAP Pinnacle Award.”

SAP Pinnacle Awards shine a spotlight on SAP partners’ remarkable contributions, acknowledging their dedication to teamwork, innovative approach and capacity to challenge what is possible to help customers achieve their goals. Award winners will be formally recognized at the SAP Global Partner Summit being held on May 4, in conjunction with SAPPHIRE NOW.
