“DEUTZ AG awards Atos new IT outsourcing contract”

Atos, an international leader in digital services, and DEUTZ AG, an engine manufacturer based in Cologne, have signed an extensive, five-year IT outsourcing contract. Under the new contract, Atos will provide a number of services including data center and network services, SAP hosting and server capacity to the DEUTZ AG.

”We were particularly impressed by the comprehensive service package of Atos. All our requests will in the future be fulfilled exceedingly and our IT can thus react quickly and flexibly to market developments,” says Dr. Margarete Haase, member of the board of the DEUTZ AG responsible for Finance, HR, Public and Investor Relations.

It is the goal of the internationally acting engine manufacturer to optimize its IT cost structure through a centralized infrastructure that is based on consolidated and preferably standardized hardware.
