“Worldline appoints new CEO in South Asia”

Worldline, Atos subsidiary in e-payment services, announced the appointment of Deepak Chandnani as the new CEO for Worldline in South Asia. He succeeds Jean-Pascal Duvet, who takes over as the Worldline CEO for Asia. Deepak will be based in Atos offices in Mumbai, India and will report directly to Jean Pascal Duvet.

Deepak brings 30 years of experience to his new role and is proficient across a variety of industries, product categories and market segments, with expertise in financial services and the emerging payment space. Before joining Worldline, Deepak was working with Obopay Inc., San Francisco, California and has worked in senior leadership positions in India with companies like Hindustan Unilever, Wire and Wireless India, NCR Corporation, Yahoo and Citibank. Deepak holds a degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and has done his Master’s in Business Administration at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
